It was super hot, in both temperatures and the show itself.

The crowd was very much taken with Boz and band, I've been to Britt many times, and let me tell you that I've never seen such an appreciative audience for a show before. Everyone I talked to was impressed way beyond their expectations.

We were in almost record highs temps, it was 105 or so when we got there, and after the show was over, still well into the 80's. I have never been there before where you didn't need a light wrap before the show ended, but last night was definitely not the night for even a light sweater. Very unusual.  Despite the heat, Boz and band put on one smashing show. The audience which you would think would be a bit tired and lethargic with the heat was anything but.

The highlights for me were "Desire" and "I've Got Your Love" as I've neve seen Boz perform them before at a live show. "Desire" just blew me away, it was stunning.  And I'm not exaggerating either, believe me.

"I've Got Your Love" was done a little differently with more of a rock beat on the drums near the end of it, and then back to the usual beat at the end. I liked the variation a lot though.

"Lido Shuffle" was back to it's original non-ZZ Top opening.

Boz was very talkative, for him anyway, he mentioned that he was glad to be back in this beautiful area, but it could be 30 degrees cooler for his taste. And for everyone's for that matter! Anyway, they were all troopers, putting on a fantastic show in a very hot venue.

It was cooler of course by the time Boz and band came on, A.J. Croce opened, he is Jim Croce's son for those of you who may not know that tidbit.  He put on a great show, he's a very talented musician, and fun to hear on stage, he's quite the charmer when he talks to the audience.

The moon put on quite a show of it's own rising over the Britt stage, it's almost a full moon and was absolutely gorgeous.  Definitely one of the best Boz shows or any shows I've seen.
